چکیده
Abstract Background High-quality single blastocyst transfer (SBT) is increasingly recommended to patients because of its acceptable pregnancy outcomes and significantly reduced multiple rate compared double (DBT). However, there no consensus on whether this strategy also suitable for poor-quality blastocysts. Moreover, the effect development speed blastocysts has been controversial. Therefore, study aimed explore effects morphology neonatal during frozen embryo (FET) cycle ultimately provide references clinical strategies. Methods A total 2,038 FET cycles from 40 years old or less were included January 2014 December 2019 divided based number embryos transferred: D5-SBT ( n = 476), D5-DBT 365), D6-SBT 730), D6-DBT 467) groups. The SBT group was further morphology: D5-AC/BC 407), D5-CA/CB 69), D6-AC/BC 580), D6-CA /CB 150). متن کاملBlastocyst transfer in frozen-thawed cycles
OBJECTIVE It is well known that fresh blastocyst transfer results in better pregnancy outcomes with a smaller number of transferred embryos compared with cleavage stage embryo transfer. However, in terms of frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer, only a few studies are available. We aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) with blastocysts. METHODS Retrospective a...
متن کاملImportance of Blastocyst Morphology in Selection for Transfer
Prolonged cultivation of embryos to the blastocyst stage has become a routine practice in the human in vitro fertilization program (IVF) since 1999, when the first commercial sequential media were developed. The culture systems have been improved many times and today most of the blastocyst culture media enable the embryos to reach the blastocyst stage in more than 50% of cases (Gardner et al., ...
متن کاملReproductive outcomes of retransferring retained embryos in blastocyst transfer cycles
OBJECTIVE To determine the incidence of embryo retention (ER) in the transfer catheter following embryo transfer (ET) in blastocyst transfer and investigate whether retransferring retained embryos has an impact on reproductive outcomes in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization-ET. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the records of 1,131 blastocyst transfers, which comprised 223 single bla...
متن کاملPrediction of clinical pregnancy in vitrified-warmed single blastocyst transfer cycles by pre-freeze morphology
BACKGROUND The selection of blastocyst warmed for transfer is based on pre-freeze morphology in vitrified-warmed single blastocyst transfer cycles. But, it is controversial which parameter of blastocyst morphology most closely related to the clinical outcomes. OBJECTIVE To estimate the effect of blastocoele expansion, trophectoderm (TE) morphology grade, and inner cell mass (ICM) morphology g...
